AdventureMen Groupme

We are excited to offer free access to the AdventureMen Groupme.  Groupme is a free app that allows users to create and manage group chats for communication, collaboration, and staying connected.  Groupme is very similar to text messaging, but it focuses on group messages instead of individual messaging. It uses your data connection to send and receive messages instead of your traditional cellular connection.  Groupme is NOT Social Media.

Groupme Application Installation Steps: 

1. On your smartphone: 

• iPhone Users: open the App Store and search for Groupme.  

• Android Users: open the Play Store and search for Groupme.  

2. Click the button to install the app.  Once installed, open the Groupme app.  

3. Enter your email address or use one of the suggested authentication methods. 

4. Enter your phone number and other information to create your account.  

5. Click GET PIN. 

6. Groupme will text you a pin number, enter that pin number when prompted to verify you are who you say you are.  

7. Start using groupme.  

8.  To join the AdventureMen group click HERE (from your phone) to request access to the AdventureMen Groupme.  You will then need to be approved by a group admin) https://groupme.com/join_group/39211599/89s0UzeR

Rules:

1. No skirts, only kilts.  Sorry ladies but we are here to become better men, husbands, fathers, and followers of Jesus

2. No promotion or advertising items for sale.  OKAY to promote church ministries and events if they are of relevance.  The Admins will monitor and reserve the right to remove if needed.

3. No fundraising and asking anyone for money/donations. 

4. No profanity or hate

5. No politics

6. Be the Good News and let your light shine bright and far

Profile:  

You are not required to have an avatar/profile picture BUT it would definitely help the group identify each other and put names with faces for the new guys, so please consider it.  

1. Touch your name avatar at the bottom of the screen

2. Touch your name avatar again and click the pencil to add an image.

3. Select an image from your device and save.

4. Update your name and any other info you would like to share about yourself
