- Meet Greg Nass - Founder/Director

Greg Nass was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa., where a deep love for the outdoors was instilled in him when he began hunting and trapping with his father and brothers at the age of six. He’s carried this passion for all things outdoors throughout his life and can often be found hiking, biking, and fly fishing on local trails, creeks, and streams.

In 1999, Greg discovered a new kind of love when he gave his heart to Jesus Christ during a dramatic salvation. The next ten years were spent growing in faith and knowledge until the Lord called him to unite his love of the outdoors with his desire to reach fellow outdoorsmen with the message of Jesus Christ.

In 2009, AdventureMen Ministries was launched with the mission to help men experience Christ through adventure and is supported by the PennDel HonorBound Ministries of the Assemblies of God.  AdventureMen Ministries was designed to be an international men’s ministry and is currently functioning in local churches throughout several different states. Their largest annual event, AdventureFest, which is always held the weekend before Fathers Day draws many men hungry for renewal, salvation, and outdoor adventure.

In addition to serving as Director of AdventureMen, Greg is the HonorBound Representative for the Assemblies of God PennDel District, and is employed by the U.S. Government where he works on cyber security projects.

Greg became a credentialed pastor with the Assemblies of God after completing two years of ministry courses at South Eastern University.  He is currently pursuing a M.S. in Information Systems Security through Western Governors University.

Greg lives in Bethel Park, Pa., with his wife Shannon, who is also a credentialed pastor with the Assemblies of God, their 12-year-old twin daughters, Naomi and Charlotte, and their beagle Lucy.

Following are a few pastoral services that Greg provides that may help to meet your needs.  Do something different and think outside of the box!

Weddings
Greg has officiated both large and small weddings including vow renewals.  He takes a lighthearted, but intimate approach and will work very hard for you to ensure your day is special, and very memorable. Ceremonies typically range from 15 to 30 minutes and usually include a few tears and also some laughter.   After all, this is your special day so why should you be nervous?  References are available upon request.

Guide
Having knowledge of road routes, and epic singletrack across Pennslyvania, West Virginia and other locations across the east coast Greg is capable of leading large rides with many miles of smiles.  You will draw closer to God when your heart is pumping through your chest, sweat is searing your eyes as you crest the mountain and bomb down the other side. Need someone to take you from Pittsburgh to DC on the Great Allegheny Passage - Greg will be your spiritual ride leader.

Fly fishing for Steelhead near Erie PA is as epic of a fishing trip you can take.  With an 8 weight fly rod,  neoprene waders, and a packed lunch you will be able to discover some of the best fishing spots in the Erie tributary streams that have been discovered by Greg from years of fishing.  Having a Bible study in the center of the stream will allow you to draw nearer to God, standing in the water that He created.

Preaching, Speaking, and Teaching
Even though Greg prefers preaching outside and being the Good news, he has been known to occasionally preach Sunday services, lead Bible studies, and teach classes.   Often he will take the class from within the church, to outside to practice what is preached to meet the Great Commission.
