The greatest campfire cookin, salty meat, Jesus praising weekend EVER

AdventureFest is an annual multi-church, non-denominational men’s ministry camping (tailgate style) weekend at Agape Farm near Raystown Lake.  With over 285 secluded acres of woods and field, there is more than enough room to get our Adventureman on!

It’s not a retreat, it’s not a conference, it’s more like a weekend away with the guys spent outside with good food, big campfires, worship, preacher/speakers, and lots of fun and adrenaline, or rest if that's what  you need the most - the choice is yours.

We give you all day to do whatever you want on Saturday then when you’re whooped and ready to settle down for the evening we eat, sing praise, and hear stories from ordinary people doing extraordinary things.

We have a church service on Sunday morning with water baptisms in the lake Adventure Man-Style.  We have lots of fun, but most importantly we draw closer to God and come home better men.  Prepare to experience Christ through outdoor adventure.

Speakers for 2018

Joey graduated Zion Bible College in 2008.  He currently serves as The Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries at Philadelphia Christian Center as well as Directing Philadelphia Masters Commission Since 2009.  Joey was our Friday speaker for 2017, but God had other plans and gave him a bueatiful new born baby girl named Mia. Joey is a crazy Wildman preacher for God and will surely be kicking off the weekend with Spirit and Fire this year.

Bobby is our key-note speaker for the weekend who is a very unique, powerful speaker/preacher for God.  He grew up in the ministry being a third generational Pentecostal preacher. Having begun his education in Mining Engineering in southwest Virginia, receiving a full scholarship, God began to deal with his heart leading him out of the mining industry and began ministry at age 19. He then entered Southeastern University, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Pastoral Ministry.

During this time he traveled as an Evangelist throughout the Appalachian district and upon graduation, joined Rockville Assembly of God in the Potomac District, as Associate and Youth pastor. After over four years of ministry there, Bobby accepted the call to be the Lead Pastor at Hayfield Assembly of God, a congregation he served for 17 years with marked growth and support for Missions.  During the time he also served as Men’s Director for the Section, then Light for the Lost Director for the Northern region of the district and then in 2009, was asked to become the Potomac District's first full-time Men’s Director where he oversees Men’s Ministries, Potomac Royal Rangers, Extreme Makeovers, and the Media Ministries for the District. He has ministered overseas in several countries, lead numerous construction projects and has preached throughout the Potomac and Appalachian districts.

Bobby lives outside of Winchester, Virginia with his wife, Gina, of over 28 years and their four sons. He enjoys the outdoors, sports, motorcycle riding and most of all seeing God change lives.

Del has been the lead pastor of Faith Assembly since March 2017. He graduated from Central Bible College with a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and holds a Master of Arts in Biblical Literature from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.  Pastor Del has a consuming desire to preach and teach the Bible in contemporary and creative ways. He is passionate in leading the church to become a place where people discover God and experience His power in life-changing ways!  Del will be leading our Sunday church service and will be the guy wrapping the weekend up.  We can’t wait to hear the delivery of God’s word.

We are seeking organizations/people to sponsor inner city men in military recovery programs, and those in addiction groups by making a $100 donation so that they can attend this weekend event. This will buy one man a ticket to the event, an event t-shirt, and some outdoor gear. Our goal is to provide 50 men the opportunity to attend AdventureFest for free in 2017. We are a 401C nonprofit organization, which will enable you to receive a tax credit for this donation. The men who are sponsored will be mentored over the course of the weekend by a hosting church group, and will have the opportunity to learn outdoor skills such how to build and cook a meal over a campfire, set up a tent, and fish. Things that are typically taken for granted are open doors to new adventures in the outdoors for these men and provide a tremendous distraction from the daily grind of recovery. The weekend will not only teach them outdoor skills, but will also allow them to build lasting relationships with other guys and to draw closer to God. We are also seeking churches or groups of men to host up to 10 men for the weekend at AdventureFest. The hosting church would be responsible to get the men to and from festival, help them set up their equipment, provide food (money may be provided by AdventureMen Ministries), mentor, and simply take under their wing for the weekend. Please contact us if you are interested in hosting a group at AdventureFest.

An online donation can be made by clicking here, then navigating to tickets and selecting sponsorship. Or checks can be made payable to: PennDel AdventureMen, 224 Mica Ct, Bethel Park, PA 15102
